Director

Yuan is a recent graduate from the UC Davis MBA program, where he kindled a passion for regenerative systems and the way food brings people together. When he's not analyzing spreadsheets, he enjoys spending time with family, honing his lack of archery skills, and all things beer and football.

Co-Founder

Bisma is pursuing a B.S. in Food Science & Technology at the University of California, Davis. She is passionate about product development and sustainability in the food industry. When she isn't prototyping dog treats, she can be found cooking, baking, and food blogging.

Creative Advisor

Lauren attends UC Davis where she is finishing up a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on water resources. When she isn’t creating sweet graphics for our project, she can be found caring for her many houseplants or off hiking in the nearest mountain range.

Brand Strategist

Emily is a design researcher, creative strategist and educator. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts from UC Davis and has a background in sustainability and public interest design.  In her spare time you can find her hiking with her husband, son and bully, beagle Rue. She also dabbles in woodworking, rock climbing and welding!

Liz studied design at UC Davis and now works in environmental education in Sacramento. Her passions include helping others thrive and building a collective, empathetic understanding of complex systems at global and local scales.

Project Manager & Director of BizDev

Megann recently graduated from the UC Davis MBA program where she focused on strategy and business development. She has a knack for leading projects and a passion for food science. In her spare time, she’s an expert weekend getaway planner, intermediate vegan baker, amateur tennis player, and retired marathon runner.

Food Scientist

Vici is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Davis majoring in Food Science and minoring in Statistics. When she is not assisting Bisma and Myhan with food science research, she likes working out and playing the piano. Ask her about her current band obsession!

Food Science Intern

Melissa is a Food Science undergraduate student at UC Davis. You can probably find her experimenting in the kitchen or writing original recipes, mostly plant based. She is a proud dog mom and looks forward to formulating treats that her dog can enjoy too!

Myhan is a Food Science major at the University of California, Davis, with experiences in product development, food safety, and sensory science. She’s a huge foodie, but ironically, she can’t cook. At least she can make delicious dog treats!

Marketing Lead

Cami is currently studying Marketing and Strategy at UC Davis' Graduate School of Management, after obtaining her Bachelor's in Marketing and International Business from the University of Maryland. Her love of nature started in childhood, when she collected gems, rocks, and the occasional person-shaped stick (RIP Stickman)… and now she’s excited to help educate the public on the great work being undertaken to restore Lake Tahoe's natural ecosystem and world-renowned beauty!
